Delivery volunteers are needed Monday through Friday to deliver meals to homebound seniors and disabled individuals. You may volunteer once a week, once a month, or whenever your schedule permits. Delivery hours are from 11:00am -1:00pm. Carroll and Harford County meals are delivered Monday, Wednesday and Friday, ONLY.

DRIVERS/VISITORS Driver/visitors teams deliver meals to homebound individuals. Meals are taken to the door of each home and you may spend a few minutes talking with the client. Drivers must be 18+ years of age with a valid Maryland driver’s license and their own vehicle.

You can volunteer to fill in for regular drivers or visitors who are away during winter, summer or for an extended period of time or even in a minute’s notice.

Our Moms for Meals program encourages parents to volunteer with their children during the summer and winter breaks from school as a driver/visitor team. Home School families are welcome and community service hours are available.

The Meals on Two Wheels program is designed to be a healthy and environmentally friendly delivery alternative. We have identified biker friendly routes and can help to identify one near the volunteer. We can help volunteers to configure their own bike for delivery. Note: Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland does not accept volunteers needing court appointed hours.
