Schedule:  Monday-Friday: 8:30a.m. – 4:30p.m.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Development

  1. Performs data entry relating to donor accounts, by recording donations into Raisers Edge with attention to accuracy, coding and linking accounts.
  2. Accurate alpha-numeric and/or 10-key by touch, as well as experience and proficiency in various software programs, such as Microsoft Excel, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge.
  3. Ensures data integrity, processes, and regular data cleanup for all donor records.
  1. Prepares reports and create queries of gifts received
  2. Processes and mails gift acknowledgement letters, in a timely manner.
  3. Reconciles donation records with the Finance department.
  4. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

 

Finance

  1. Performs data entry relating to client accounts/payment records, recording all payments into ServTracker and/or QuickBooks.
  2. Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.
  3. Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolve discrepancies by using standard operating procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
  4. Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format.
  5. Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  6. Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
  7. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. Associate degree or some college preferred or equivalent experience
  2. High-level data processing abilities in multiple databases
  3. High-level data entry skills
  4. Exceptional attention to detail and can work efficiently
  5. Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
  6. Professional written and oral skills
  7. Ability to interact well with elderly and disabled individuals, as well as individuals of all cultures.
  8. High-level organizational and time management skills
  9. Ability to work independently
  10. Ability to research and analyze information
  11. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed
  12. Ability to follow policies and procedures.
  1. Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening.
  2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
