Bountiful Blossoms

Make any number of small flower arrangements to be delivered with our meals to clients.

Homebound Health Kit

Collect band aids, shampoo, toothpaste, comb and brush, bottled water, flashlights etc. and assemble into bags to aid homebound individuals in your neighborhood.

Mugs of Love

Purchase or create mugs, and fill with a can of soup, hot cocoa packet, packaged goodies, protein bar, etc. and card to be shared with our homebound clients in your community.

Warm Hearts, Warm Hands

Make a homemade scarf by either knitting or crocheting; approximately 6 x 60 inch scarf to help warm a client in the cold weather. Collections occur all throughout the year.

Project Holiday:

This project is great for kids and adults! Create a card with cardstock, construction paper, or any other craft items to be delivered to a homebound individual in the community. Decorate the card focused on the holiday you choose. Sign your card with your first name only and please be mindful of other religious beliefs. Cards must be donated at least 2 weeks before the holiday.  NO GLITTER!

Fundraising events:

Conduct a workplace or community fundraiser to help Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland close the gap in federal funding so that no senior goes hungry. Past activities include a chili cook-off, a sports basket raffle, or a company picnic dunking tank! Other ideas are welcome!

All collected items will be distributed to individuals in your community during regular food delivery.
