Description:
Facilitates and coordinates the daily distribution and delivery of meals to homebound clients within the service site area.
Individual will have the ability to organize, motivate and direct people and activities.
DUTIES:
•Supervises the volunteers assigned to their site.
•Ensures that all client starts, reopens, cancellations or special instructions are appropriately recorded.
•Ensures that all route books are kept in deliverable order.
•Ensures that volunteers are aware of any information, changes or special instructions that are in the route books.
•Ensures that all volunteer time and mileage is recorded on time cards provided.
•Ensures that all meal counts are correct when delivered to site.
•Assists volunteers with loading and unloading of meal carriers as needed.
*Can possibly assist as a driver or visitor if necessary.
