Meals On Wheels and Maryland SPCA Partner For “Kibble Connection”

Pet Food Donations Needed!

Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland (MOWCM) and the Maryland SPCA are joining forces during these tough economic times to deliver meals to their homebound clients as well as their pets by forming the Kibble Connection.

The Kibble Connection was created when MOWCM noticed that clients were sharing meals with their pets and not eating themselves.  MOWCM volunteers will deliver meals for their clients as well as their pets; if requested.  The Kibble Connection ensures that MOWCM clients and their pets receive proper nutrition.

As the holidays approach pet food is running low and donations are needed to keep the “wheels spinning” with the Kibble Connection. The Maryland SPCA will accept pet food for cats and dogs and cat litter in unopened containers or bags weighing 20 pounds or less.  Please bring donations to the adoption center, 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD  21211, during business hours

Monetary donations are welcome as well. Donations will be used to purchase fill-in food.  Make checks payable to: Maryland SPCA and note “Kibble Connection” on the memo line.
