After a year of 50th Anniversary celebrations, Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland is proud to announce that GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company) has renewed their partnership with us for a second year to meet the challenges in alleviating hunger among the homebound population in our region.
The GEICO Philanthropic Foundation contribution of $25,000 this year will keep the Meals on Wheels/GEICO meal delivery van on the road for another year and will help Meals on Wheels inform others about our important mission. We again anticipate that GEICO and the GEICO Gecko will have a visible presence at a number of Meals on Wheels events this year that will highlight the charitable mission we've been dedicated to pursuing for the past 50 years.
