The Senior Managers at Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland have implemented a program that recognizes members of the staff for their dedicated efforts in helping the agency achieve its mission. This quarter a few stellar individuals have stood out from the crowd. These individuals were chosen for their reliability and attendance:
Glen Burnie Site - Diane Anderson
Diane has been a very reliable and dependable driver at the Glen Burnie Site since she was hired in September 2007. She has never missed a day of work, and is always on time for her route. In addition, Diane has proven to be a dedicated worker and team player. She is always willing to help the volunteers and her co-workers with any tasks before leaving for the day. We are fortunate to have her as part of our team.
Distribution - Silas Fuller
Silas has been a reliable and dependable employee since he began in March 1998. He has proven to be reliable in any and all situations. He always suggests professional and rational decisions. Silas has great knowledge of not only his own job duties, but also that of this manager and subordinates. His work ethic daily drive towards excellence is a model for all employees to follow.
Howard County Office - Rose Lopez
Rose is a dedicated worker who is focused on accomplishing the company’s mission. She has not missed a single day since she began in May 2009, and is already able to effectively manage the Howard Office in the absence of her supervisor. Rose often demonstrates excellent problem solving skills, and does not mind doing tasks outside her job description to meet the needs of the clients and volunteers. Carroll County Site - John McGlaughlin
John has been a dedicated MOWCM staff member since August 1996. His attendance record is nearly flawless. In addition to reporting to work every day, he regularly reports to the site early morning to assist the Site Manager with daily tasks before the volunteers arrive. John is adamant about seeing the company accomplish its mission.
Food Services - Jacqueline Rosenthal
Since her start with the company in July 2003, Jackie has proven to be a very reliable worker who always reports to work on time. She has even come into work on her days off when the kitchen is short staffed, and does so without complaint. Jackie has risen through the company ranks through her dedication and conscientious efforts. She regularly completes any work assigned to her, and it is always completed in a timely manner that often exceeds expectations. Even when she makes mistakes, as we all do, she is able to take the criticism constructively and will correct the situation without conflict. Jackie has truly proven herself to be an asset to the company.
